My passion for photography started many years ago, I have had SLR cameras for as long as I can remember one for black and white, the other for colour. My professional career started when a friend asked if I would do the photography at their wedding – this to me was a huge request and what is a person to do when asked for this sort of responsibility? Buy a new camera of course.  So I entered the world of digital photography. I bought the new camera a few months before the wedding, and used it at every opportunity to get to know it! Nervous Yes, not because I did not think I could do it, but the photos would be their memories, but with their confidence and knowledge of my work, my career started. After I had presented them with their album and DVD of the day, their response was amazing, to see the joy from people looking at my creations was great. From that one event and from word of mouth I have been asked to do the photography for friend’s civil partnership’s, their businesses and family pictures. The most important thing for me is I still enjoy taking photos.
